As the oldest of 10 siblings, I saw the same pattern every morning: the foods kids get excited about are often the foods parents hesitate to repeat. Spryful was built to close that gap with a breakfast that is convenient, genuinely fun, and grounded in real nourishment.

The Beginning
From humble beginnings to where we are today, discover the moments that shaped our journey.
As the oldest of 10 siblings, many of whom have ADHD, I saw firsthand how sugary breakfasts could affect kids throughout the day, especially when it came to energy and focus at school. I knew there had to be a better way. That realization became the start of Spryful.
These were some of our very first samples. Once we added the fortified vitamin premix, the oatmeal looked much less appealing, and the flavor still was not where it needed to be. It was a big hurdle, because if it did not feel familiar and enjoyable, kids would not want it.
Utah Valley University played a big role in helping Spryful grow into what it is today. Through their support, resources, and community, I was able to build a strong foundation and start turning the vision into something real.
We decided to take the leap and secure a partnership with a co-manufacturer. That step gave Spryful the ability to grow beyond the idea stage and move closer to making a nourishing start to the day more accessible for kids and families.
From the beginning, our mission has been to bring more fun back to the table. That led us to explore new ways to pair food with play, including packaging concepts that could safely include toys alongside food. While we are still moving through the patent process and will not launch with the toy component just yet, it remains a big part of the future we are building toward.
Launching Spryful is only the beginning. We are building toward a bigger future for fun, nourishing kids food that brings together better nutrition, joyful mornings, and experiences kids can truly get excited about.
